Medical Missions in Peru

More than 1.1 billion people around the world do not have access to clean drinking water, and waterborne illness is the cause of death of over 4,400 people per day, most of them children under the age of five.

The Encounter Group has begun work with the Peruvian Government in order to make water and sanitation projects a reality for the poor people of Peru and throughout the developing world.

Our goal is to treat the ailments (worms) through our Medical Mission outreaches and then build water filtration systems in order to help prevent disease. A water filtration system can be built for as little as $50 per family.
