$400 – Medicine enough to treat 250: Encounter Group’s Medical Volunteers can distribute and treat approximately 250 people with just one “travel pack” of medicine. Each prepackaged box weighs approximately 70 pounds and contains a variety of medications, including antibiotics, analgesics, worming medications, cortisone and anti-fungal creams and vitamins.  The retail value of each box of medication is about $4,000. Your gift allows Encounter’s Medical teams to treat villagers and refugees who otherwise would not have access to medical aid.

$1,000 – Build a Church: As a partner with 4 other benefactors ($5,000) your gift will build a church in a Dominican village or Haitian refugee camp. A local Bible College in Santo Domingo has dozens of Bible students ready to take a roll as a pastor and spread the Gospel to their countrymen.

Valuable nourishment is gained through the cow’s milk but an income is gained as well. By selling milk in the market place and eventually breeding the cow to sell its offspring a Kenyan family becomes secure financially and therefore secure for life.

For every $1,000 we receive $10,000 worth of valuable medicines and supplies will be purchased. Encounter Group’s Medical Volunteers can treat approximately 250 people with every $400 donated.
